Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Operating/Building Engineer for a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2PM-11PM) to keep facilities running at peak performance. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life-safety systems.

The role requires 5+ years in building systems, CMMS experience, and a high school diploma; EPA 608 Type II is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• CMMS experience and ability to analyze and fix complex systems.
• High school diploma or GED; EPA 608 Type II certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varied environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life-safety systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust systems to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor outside contractors and control costs.
• Manage inventory and procurement for maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting and plumbing systems.
