Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a skilled facilities engineer to operate and maintain building systems. The role emphasizes HVAC, plumbing, electrical work and life-safety systems, with a focus on reliability and safety in a complex environment.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and support after-hours issues while ensuring tenant satisfaction and building compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, repair and maintenance.
• Experience with Critical Environments including power generators, UPS & battery systems, and GPS/ATS equipment preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and work with clients.
• Proficiency with CMMS work order systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Control the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the building.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, electrical and life-safety systems.
• Monitor tenant services, preventive maintenance, purchasing and inventory control.
• Maintain water cooling and air conditioning equipment, pumps, valves, piping and filters.
• Formulate and implement the preventive maintenance program.
• Be prepared for after-hours support and emergency response.
