Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in Michigan is seeking a Facilities Engineer to maintain and improve all non-production equipment, buildings, and utilities at the Fremont Plant. You will serve as Energy & Water Champion and lead safety and environmental programs with supervisors and staff.

Qualified candidates have a BS/BA, 3+ years in facilities/maintenance, and experience with TPM, ammonia systems, and applicable regulations. The role offers a competitive total rewards package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in related field.
3+ years’ experience managing facilities, utilities, environmental compliance and/or maintenance.
Preferred Experience: Microsoft Project, Auto-Cad and blueprint reading.
Management experience in the Powerhouse operations, ASME boiler code and state laws.
Ammonia systems operation and maintenance in food processing or pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Responsibilities

Prepare, administer, and implement long range capital projects for the factory infrastructure and utilities operation.
Manage Plant facilities operations for generation and supply of steam, RO water, soft water, refrigeration, compressed air, water and electrical.
Ensure compliance of the factory with regulatory and internal standards (PSM/RMP, safety, environment).
Monitor utility consumption and drive cost-efficient improvements and renovations.
Apply NCE / TPM processes to analyze data and design value-driven improvements.
