Job summary

Nestlé Gerber Products Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to establish and drive Maintenance Foundations, TPM, and the engineering elements of Nestlé Continuous Excellence in our Michigan factory. This role oversees salaried supervisors, planners, stockroom personnel, and hourly mechanics, partnering with Safety and Quality teams to minimize downtime and sustain high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent with 5+ years in manufacturing.
Experience in Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
Experience in Maintenance Management is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
CMMS/SAP experience is preferred.
TPM experience is preferred.
Experience in USDA, FDA, or equivalent regulatory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement Maintenance Foundations and TPM methodologies.
Lead a team of salaried supervisors, planners, stockroom personnel, and hourly maintenance staff.
Collaborate with Safety and Quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure hygiene.
Monitor maintenance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Manage maintenance budget and optimize costs.
