Job summary

Gerber Products Company is seeking a Facilities Operations professional to maintain, upgrade, and ensure compliance of all non-production infrastructure at the Fremont Plant. The role oversees energy, water, and utility systems, with emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effective improvements.

The position requires a BS/BA in a related field and 3+ years in facilities, utilities, or maintenance, with experience in TPM and ammonia systems preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related field required.
• 3+ years' experience managing facilities, utilities, environmental compliance and/or maintenance.
• Preferred Experience: Microsoft Project, Auto-Cad and blueprint reading.
• Management experience in the Powerhouse operations, ASME boiler code and state laws.
• Ammonia systems operation and maintenance in food processing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and implement long range capital projects for the factory infrastructure and utilities operation.
• Manage Plant facilities operations to ensure reliable services to Plant operations in compliance with regulations.
• Manage overall compliance of the factory relating to building infrastructure, ammonia, steam, environmental, etc.
• Monitor utility consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Utilize TPM processes to analyze data and implement improvements and cost savings.
