Job summary

Nestlé Gerber plant in Fremont, MI is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee non-production equipment, buildings, and utilities, and to serve as Energy & Water Champion. You will lead safety and environmental programs and drive cost-effective improvements.

Requires a BS/BA, 3+ years in facilities/maintenance, and knowledge of TPM, ammonia systems, and regulatory compliance. Provides competitive compensation and benefits with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in facilities, utilities, environmental compliance or maintenance.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Project, Auto-CAD and blueprint reading.
• Experience in powerhouse operations, ASME boiler code and state laws is preferred.
• Ammonia systems operation and maintenance knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and implement long range capital projects for factory infra and utilities.
• Manage Plant facilities operations for steam, water, refrigeration and electrical systems to ensure reliability.
• Ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, safety and environmental programs.
• Monitor utility consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Apply TPM/NCE methods to analyze data and implement improvements.
