Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Plant Engineer (Day Shift) to oversee maintenance and engineering operations in a food manufacturing plant. You will ensure equipment reliability, drive capital projects, and lead a skilled maintenance team while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years in leadership, and strong PLC/ammonia refrigeration expertise. Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role including team development and management.
• PLC and ammonia refrigeration experience is required.
• Food manufacturing background is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems.
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical and/or electrical fields (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation).
• Ability to lead resource planning and management in a large facility.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and TPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital projects and manage post-approval execution within time and budget.
• Collaborate on project scheduling with Plant Engineer to ensure safety and standards.
• Lead Maintenance Department implementing TPM and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Optimize resource scheduling to maximize output and minimize downtime.
• Lead the maintenance team with clear responsibilities and policies.
• Champions plant safety through training, procedures, and monitoring.
