Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Facilities & Utilities Engineer to support site infrastructure, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation of facility and utility systems including PLCs, SCADA, and BAS. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS to maximize system availability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in industrial automation engineering.
• Experience in FDA-regulated GMP environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP PM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote proactive safety culture and support site safety initiatives.
• Ensure utility systems meet manufacturing requirements and product quality.
• Partner with Controls Engineer on BAS, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs.
• Support boilers, HVAC, chilled water, wastewater, and energy systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and investigations of facility and utility issues.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs with Maintenance teams.
• Lead continuous improvement in facility and utility performance.
• Maintain engineering standards, SOPs, PM procedures, and documentation.
