Job summary

Senior Resource Group-SRG is seeking a facilities maintenance leader to oversee the maintenance department, ensuring the physical plant, FF&E, and grounds are kept in excellent condition. You will plan, organize, schedule, and staff a broad range of activities to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, plus two years of supervisory work.

Qualifications

• Technical degree from a two-year college or vocational school.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and heating/air conditioning mechanical equipment and systems.
• Two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and equipment to determine need and extent of service and equipment required, performing needed work/repairs within normal practice.
• Assign workers to duties such as maintenance, repair, or renovation and obtain bids from outside contractors.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule to control costs and maintain records.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, and furniture; obtain and evaluate bids from outside contractors.
• Prepare evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Perform all maintenance functions inside and outside the facility.
