Job summary

Senior-Solutions-Management-Grou is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage all maintenance functions within budget, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, enforce safety procedures, and coordinate with staff and executives to meet budgets and deadlines.

The role requires knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and strong leadership to train new staff and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems recommended.
• Additional certification/education regarding building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems strongly recommended.
• Candidate should be in fair physical condition to accommodate the completion of various tasks, including bending, lifting, hearing, climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and vision abilities.
• Candidate should be able to lift 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and control of supplies, equipment, repairs and personnel budgets.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Maintain positive public relations with residents and families, employees and the public.
• Perform and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance complies with procedures in the maintenance manual.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with staff, consultants, and Executive Director as needed.
• Assist Executive Director in hiring and training of new staff.
• Participate in safety committees and safety inspections as required.
