Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance for a busy distribution center. You will direct preventive maintenance for equipment, manage HVAC systems, and coordinate capital upgrades while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You’ll oversee Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation staff, develop training, and partner with vendors to uphold high standards of service. This role reports to Facilities Management and requires strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates of Arts degree preferred or 3+ years in facilities supervision/management.
• Experience managing a budget preferred.
• Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment maintenance experience.
• Understanding of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA/state safety regulations including Lock-out/Tag-out.
• Welding and/or fabrication experience a plus.
• CFM certification or pursuing CFM certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and document maintenance, preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate preventive/predictive maintenance for material handling equipment, conveyors, and HVAC.
• Develop plans to prevent facility/equipment problems impacting operations.
• Manage capital budget activities for equipment upgrades.
• Ensure parts stock for maintenance to promote service efficiencies.
• Comply with OSHA/state safety requirements in maintenance and sanitation.
• Collaborate with vendors/contractors on installation and training.
• Provide maintenance training and career development guidance.
• Maintain CMMS documentation and yearly reporting.
