Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Facility Coordinator to support daily facility operations for assigned childcare centers and to serve as the primary point of contact for center directors, vendors, and internal teams.

You will coordinate maintenance, manage work orders in a CMMS from initiation to completion, ensure timely vendor responses, provide customer follow-up, and help maintain safe, functional environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities coordination or building operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and understand safetyRules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset; able to interact with center directors, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to calls to the LC Help Desk during designated hours and dispatch resources.
• Create and manage work orders to completion; follow up with vendors and clients.
• Enter, update and maintain project data within the customer portal system.
• Communicate/escalate with FM, customers, vendors and others as needed.
• Resolve third party invoices by coordinating with the accounts payable team.
• Update CMMS with work order approvals and notify vendors.
• Support recurring services and preventative maintenance programs.
• Attend internal meetings with Facility Managers and leadership to align operations.
