Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities to lead a team of technicians in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will apply predictive and preventive maintenance on critical production equipment, including HVAC, compressors, and forklifts, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance with 3+ years in leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and strong data/record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or field with related skills.
3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and project management tools.
Knowledge of PLC systems and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance technicians to perform corrective, preventive and planned maintenance on production equipment.
Oversee building maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
Ensure safety standards, 5S, and hazardous energy policies are followed.
Coordinate repairs with production to minimize downtime.
Maintain records and data entry related to work orders and parts.
Identify trends to drive predictive maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Perform calibration and testing to ensure equipment accuracy.
