Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is hiring a Manager, Facilities Architectural(Electrical) to oversee NYCT Subway facility construction not managed by MTA C&D across owned and leased properties. The role requires coordinating multi-million-dollar capital projects with in-house and contracted labor, covering all lifecycle phases from planning to reporting.

You will review drawings for NYS Building Code compliance, apply NEC knowledge, and lead meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Eight years of full-time related experience and two years of managerial/supervisory/administrative experience.
• A satisfactory combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NYCT Subway facility construction not managed by MTA C&D.
• Manage multi-million-dollar capital projects with in-house and outsourced labor.
• Involve in planning, scheduling, design, technical specifications, and reporting.
• Review drawings for conformity to NYS Building Code and facility specifications.
• Respond to emergencies/critical occurrences on a 24/7 basis.
