Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks a Facilities Engineering Manager to oversee NYCT Subway facility construction projects not managed by MTA C&D. You will manage multi-million-dollar capital projects, ensure compliance with NYS Building Code and NYCT standards, and respond to facility emergencies around the clock.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering, 8 years of related experience (2+ in supervision), and preferred NYS PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.
• 8 years related experience; at least 2 in supervision.
• NYS PE license preferred; familiarity with NYS Building Code and NYCT standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees multi-million-dollar capital construction projects for NYCT Subway facilities.
• Leads all project lifecycle phases: planning, design, scheduling, construction, reporting.
• Ensures compliance with NYS Building Code and NYCT standards.
• Responds to facility emergencies 24/7 when needed.
