Qualifications

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.

• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10-panel drug screen (at no cost).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, or related).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation at medical, social services and other appointments.
• Choose your own schedule as a contractor.
• Take as many assignments as you want; 24/7/365 availability.
• Higher rates may be offered with more experience.

As a face-to-face interpreter, you'll use your language skills to assist others during medical, social service and other types of appointments. Interpreting with Access is a great way to earn money. The more assignments you take, the more you can earn. It's perfect for those looking for a flexible schedule with good pay. Using your unique bilingual skills to help those in need who speak the language or dialect you speak is very rewarding.
