Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC is seeking Amharic, Tigrinya and/or Oromo language interpreters for face-to-face assignments in Central Ohio. This positions offers flexible, contractor-based hours with opportunities at medical, social service and other appointments, allowing you to choose how much you work.

Qualifications

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' Access Academy, Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
