Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in Columbus is seeking Hakha Chin language interpreters for in-person assignments. You can choose your own hours and work at medical, social service and other appointments.

As a contractor, you decide your schedule, with 24/7/365 assignment availability. Most requests occur during business hours, and you can take as many or as few assignments as you like.

Qualifications

• Must have location in Central Ohio.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening.
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours.
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpretation at medical, social service and other appointments.
• Interpret for clients in person, not via video or phone.

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
