Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is the largest local interpretation and translation business in Columbus, offering in-person interpretation services for medical, social service and other appointments. As a face-to-face interpreter, you will use your language skills to help people who speak Hebrew and English, with flexible hours and earning potential based on assignments accepted.

• Be located in Central Ohio area.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost).
• Provide proof of interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Access Academy, Bridging the Gap, Court Interpretation, degree/certificate).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or complete a 3rd party bilingual fluency evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation at medical, social service and other appointments.
• Choose your own schedule by taking available assignments.
• Your bilingual skills help those who speak your language or dialect.

Face to Face (not video or telephone) Interpretation

WHO WE ARE: Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is the largest local interpretation & translation business in Columbus providing interpreters and translators locally and nation-wide. Our main office is located in Downtown Columbus.

As a face-to-face interpreter, you'll use your language skills to assist others during medical, social service and other types of appointments. Interpreting with Access is a great way to earn money. The more assignments you take, the more you can earn. It's perfect for those looking for a flexible schedule with good pay. Using your unique bilingual skills to help those in need who speak the language or dialect you speak is very rewarding.

What you need to know:

• Your bilingual skills are in high demand!


• As a contractor, you decide your own schedule!


• Assignments are available 24/7/365! (Most assignments are requested during business hours.)


• Take as many or as few of our available assignments as you can!

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.


• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Be eligible to work in the United States.

• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
