Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking Spanish language interpreters for face-to-face interpretation across medical, social services, and other appointments. You decide your own schedule and take assignments as you can, making this a flexible side income or primary work alongside other commitments.

As a contractor, you provide bilingual English-Spanish interpretation, with most assignments during business hours, and support from a nationwide interpreter network.

Qualifications

• Be located in Central Ohio area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
