Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a skilled deskside/onsite IT engineer to provide frontline support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, RF scanners, and OT-enabled systems at our Chesterfield site. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, manage SCCM/Intune/JAMF deployments, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime.

The role requires deep knowledge of Windows/macOS, AD, and ITIL processes, plus strong communication to keep stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

Minimum 7yrs hands on dedicated experience as deskside/Onsite support/local IT engineer.
Strong Windows/macOS installation and troubleshooting skills.
Hands & feet support for Network and Datacentre Equipment/Devices.
Desktop hardware/software/networking knowledge.
Experience with RF scanners and industry printers (Zebra, etc).
Knowledge of OT tech like PLCs and manufacturing IT systems.
Proficient in ServiceNow and ITIL concepts.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary IT owner at site, drive resolution with minimal downtime.
Support shopfloor hardware/software for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals.
Coordinate with IT/OT vendors to keep site running smoothly.
Create day-to-day process docs and KB articles.
Lead P1 incidents and communicate with stakeholders.
