Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an OSS Technician to deliver world-class IT support to onsite and remote executives. The role requires 5+ years in IT, with hands-on experience in desktop hardware, operating systems, barcode scanners, printers, and MS 365 products.

Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. The successful candidate will troubleshoot end-user issues, install and upgrade hardware/software, and provide proactive support across collaboration and AV services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (i.e. 5+ years’ experience in an IT technical role).
• 2+ years’ experience in desktop hardware, operating systems, smartphones, barcode scanners and printers.
• 2+ years’ experience in Microsoft 365 products (Windows, Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• 2+ years’ experience in business communication platforms such as messaging, video conferencing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class IT support to staff and executives onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user computer issues and hardware peripherals (bar codes, printers, scanners, etc.).
• Install, replace, upgrade hardware and software as needed.
• Support office services and assist other IT functions as required.
• Communicate effectively with executives and maintain high levels of professionalism.
