Job summary

JCB, the world’s leading privately owned construction equipment manufacturer, seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily fabrication operations onsite in Pooler, GA. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while guiding Team Leaders and hourly staff in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities include planning workflows, meeting production schedules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/fabrication/heavy equipment production.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with hourly staff.
• Experience with welding, cutting, forming, and metal fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a fabrication team focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Direct daily fabrication operations including welding, cutting, forming, machining, and assembly.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Drive metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, Attendance, and Engagement.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a proactive safety-first culture.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials to resolve issues.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, performance reviews, and development planning.
• Support training and succession planning for Team Leaders and staff.
