Job summary

SPX Technologies in Madison, AL seeks a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a metal fabrication team and oversee daily operations, safety, and production performance at the new campus facility. You will hire, train, and motivate hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure on-time delivery with quality control and inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and knowledge of lean principles, ERP systems, and health and safety

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a manufacturing team to meet production goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the plant.
• Oversee production scheduling, delivery performance, and quality control.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean methods and data from ERP systems.
