Job summary

Valcourt is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the Cab Fabrication and Repair divisions in Houston. You will drive day-to-day activities, establish priorities, and optimize staffing, equipment, and production capacity to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires a 4-year degree and 5+ years in operations, construction, or industrial services, with strong financial management and leadership abilities. Will travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Five or more years of operations, branch management, construction management, fabrication, repair, or industrial services experience.
• Proven experience managing a profit and loss statement, budgets, labor costs, materials, and gross margins.
• Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, estimating, cost control, and change-order management.
• Experience leading fabrication, repair, manufacturing, construction, or field-service teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities within the Cab Fabrication and Repair Divisions.
• Establish operational priorities and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor workloads, staffing levels, equipment, and production capacity.
• Allocate labor, materials, and other resources based on project schedules and business needs.
• Partner with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions and process improvements.
• Ensure company systems, policies, and SOPs are consistently followed.
• Manage the profit and loss performance and develop operating budgets, forecasts, and financial goals.
• Monitor costs and review financial reports to drive profitability and cost control.
• Support sales with project pricing, labor assumptions, cost analysis, and bid strategy.
