Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in South Chesterfield, VA, is seeking a Supervisor, Production – Fabrication for the 3rd shift. You will lead team leads and hourly production staff, ensuring safety, timely execution of targets, and adherence to quality standards.

The role emphasizes daily standard work, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner with supply chain, quality, and shipping, maintain the production schedule, and coach associates to build capable, high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team leaders and front-line hourly production staff; ensure safety, set expectations, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability.
• Maintain production schedule; meet quality and productivity requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to meet targets.
• Document and analyze productivity data to identify root causes of variances.
• Coordinate with HR and Safety on policy enforcement and training.
