Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for the FAA customer base, delivering hands-on field support in the Chicago airspace. The role includes installation, repair, configuration, testing, and preventive maintenance of diverse equipment at customer sites.

You will read drawings, document actions, and collaborate with NOCC/SAC/Helpdesk to resolve issues. Travel within a 3-hour drive, and occasional remote work may be required based on assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant field experience
• Experience with FAA contracts or field service in aerospace/aviation is a plus
• Ability to obtain FAA security clearance and drive to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS)
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Read and interpret equipment drawings and task orders
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues
