Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of networking and telecom equipment for FAA programs. The role requires daily commuting to customer locations within your assigned area and potential travel up to 3 hours from base location.

Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to obtain a Public Trust Clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for programs and systems under FAA scope.
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on networking/telecom gear at remote locations.
• Travel to customer sites within defined area; occasional travel outside region as needed.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders; document work performed.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
