Job summary

Metro Lagoons in Florida is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure guests receive exceptional service, and maintain accurate business records in the F&B department.

You will lead a team, schedule shifts, manage inventories and budgets, process payroll, hire and train staff, uphold sanitation standards, monitor costs, and actively mentor employees to deliver a consistently outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as food and beverage supervisor or similar role.
• Excellent people skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Outstanding leadership abilities to guide a team.
• Up-to-date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing daily operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Food safety certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Training and supervising employees to ensure correct performance.
• Monitoring employee productivity to meet goals.
• Coordinating employee schedules, including shift changes and absences.
• Overseeing inventory of food and beverage supplies and ordering.
• Maintaining sanitation standards and ensuring policy compliance.
• Managing payroll by reviewing time cards and processing paychecks.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees as needed.
• Establishing budgets for food, labor costs, and other operating expenses.
• Providing customer service by answering menu questions and making recommendations.
