Job summary

SFlaHHRA is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager in Miami Beach, FL to oversee restaurant operations, lead staff, ensure quality, and maximize profitability. You will manage reservations, training, and budgeting while coordinating with culinary and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and comprehensive knowledge of F&B operations, including Micros POS and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in F&B Management and/or Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.
• Strong working knowledge of the food and hospitality industry.
• Exceptional customer service, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
• Proficient in Micros POS and Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Communicate all aspects to the culinary team and other managers in the F&B department to ensure details are maintained.
• Manage the Resy reservation system with host staff and assist with seating during peak times.
• Organize daily shift documentation including pre-shift reports, training topics, labor, and requisitions.
• Ensure all staff are meeting established service standards.
• Monitor and test service skills; retrain and reinforce standards daily.
• Provide feedback and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Plan monthly/pre-shift meetings and coordinate interdepartmental communication.
• Assist in marketing initiatives, menu items, and growth initiatives for outlets.
• Monitor budgets, payroll, and product costs.
• Adhere to Accounting and People & Culture policies; report issues to leadership.
• Assist in maintaining Micros programming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
