Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley in Minnesota seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor to lead a diverse team and ensure peak guest service across all venues. You will enforce performance standards, oversee liquor control and ordering, train Associates, monitor safety and sanitation, and drive cost efficiency while meeting budgets.

You’ll coordinate staffing, maintain open communication through meetings, and uphold internal controls and the casino’s high service standards

Qualifications

• Experience leading Food & Beverage operations with supervisory responsibilities in hospitality settings.
• Certification in Serv-Safe preferred; alcohol awareness certification required within 2 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce performance standards, policies and procedures in the venue.
• Comply with all health, liquor and safety regulations; ensure adherence to laws.
• Evaluate and train Associates to meet guest service standards.
• Oversee liquor control and ordering for the venue.
• Ensure smooth, efficient venue operations to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Review and approve hiring, transfers, discipline and evaluations fairly.
• Maximize cost effectiveness by monitoring budget, labor and revenue benchmarks.
• Address guest grievances and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and minimize variances.
• Provide feedback to management to improve staff performance and skills.
• Input to management on operational deficiencies and improvement needs.
• Establish priorities for Team members and provide support as needed.
• Know and enforce Grand Casino’s internal controls and policies.
• Maintain venue equipment and appearance to Grand Casino standards.
• Foster open communication via staff meetings and daily pre-shift briefings.
