Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts at Claremont Resort & Club, Berkeley, CA, seeks an Assistance Food & Beverage Manager OEM to lead restaurant and bar operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will hire, train and develop staff, ensure compliance with LSOPs/SOPs, and drive guest satisfaction while managing budgets and costs.

The role requires hotel experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on safety and quality service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant and room service operations across meals.
• Direct bar operations and staff performance, including hiring, training and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with LSOPs/SOPs, safety regulations, and local laws.
• Forecast budgets and control costs (labor, food, beverage, supplies).
• Respond to guest needs and trends to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
