Job summary

Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley, CA seeks a Director of Restaurants & Bars to plan and manage Restaurant, Room Service and other F&B outlets, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with policies, and achievement of financial goals. The role oversees HR, budgets, promotions, and guest experiences across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Forecast, monitor, control and report on outlet budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Respond to customer trends and issues to ensure quality experience and future sales.
• Create and implement promotions, displays and buffet presentations to capture more guests.
• Maintain and sanitation of outlets and equipment to protect assets and comply with regulations.
