Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to use point of sale (POS).
• Lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Push/pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards.
• Supervise service of guests and watch for signals needing service.
• Assist manager to establish and monitor sidework duty completion.
• Maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Read daily communications and prepare for the next shift.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup; inspect service stands and aisles.
• Adhere to liquor requirements and company policies.
• Communicate with restaurant manager about events and house counts.
• Provide clear directions to staff both verbally and in writing.
