Job summary

Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in the north Georgia foothills seeks an experienced restaurant and hotel operations leader to plan and manage the Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets. You will supervise day-to-day operations, lead hospitality teams, ensure quality service, and align with budgeting, safety, and SOPs.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and impeccable communication to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-high school education or equivalent.
• Two+ years of full-time work in a related position.
• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Ability to investigate and analyze activities and make recommendations.
• Leadership to motivate and develop staff.
• Ability to plan, organize, and delegate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Manage human resources across outlets: hiring, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance reviews, and discipline as needed.
• Implement programs and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Forecast, monitor, and report outlet budgets (labor, food, beverage, supplies) to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Respond to guest trends and issues to ensure a quality experience and drive repeat business.
• Create and implement promotions, displays, and buffet presentations to attract in-house guests.
• Monitor maintenance and sanitation to protect assets and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure attendance rules are followed and be available to work as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
