Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Baltimore is seeking an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to manage daily operations of our hotel outlets and banquet facilities, ensuring top quality food, service and regulatory compliance while driving department revenue and profit.

The role requires some college or related training with supervisory experience, a bachelor’s in hotel management or culinary arts preferred, and fluent English; you will lead a large, diverse team and coordinate

Qualifications

• Some college or advanced training in food and beverage operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple outlets and banquet facilities.
• Ensure quality standards, guest service, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Prepare or contribute to annual operating budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Rooms, and Maintenance.
• May serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
