Job summary

Lake Compounce is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all F&B outlets and catering activities at the Bristol park. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and guest service focus, with open evening/weekend availability during peak season.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years supervisory experience in food service, a related degree or equivalent, and is committed to safety and regulatory compliance. CT employment with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of catering, food service, or restaurant experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience highly desired.
• Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) within 90 days when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all F&B operations and departments.
• Lead by example and mentor team members.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Address guest questions and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with Health Department and park leadership.
• Develop programs to increase sales and guest satisfaction.
