Job summary

InterContinental New York Barclay is seeking a Hotel Food & Beverage Manager to lead operations across outlets, kitchens, and events. You will supervise teams, coach staff, and ensure service standards meet the brand's expectations.

The role emphasizes staff planning, budgeting, and guest satisfaction, with a focus on safe, compliant food and beverage service in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management.
• 2 years of related experience including supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred.
• Must speak local language.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local law.

Responsibilities

• Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers.
• Develop your team and improve performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues.
• Train colleagues to deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect.
• Recommend or initiate any HR actions where needed.
• Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals; assist guests with requests and complaints.
