Job summary

Park Hyatt New York is seeking a Temporary FT Food & Beverage Manager to supervise all F&B operations across banquets, restaurant, room service and bar. You will oversee scheduling, training, cost control and compliance with health and safety standards while coordinating with kitchen and other hotel departments.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills and leadership to drive guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as F&B Management preferred.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader.
• Previous experience in Hotel Room Service, Stewarding, Fine Dining, and Beverage strongly preferred.
• Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills.
• Experience with training, financial management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages
• Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction and implementing improvements as necessary
• Monitor financial transactions and budget adherence, including payroll
• Responsibilities include: developing and assuming key management responsibilities
• Assume the role of liaison between all departments within the food & beverage division and all other hotel departments
• Supervise departmental performance and provide them council
• Manage hourly room service and restaurant employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
• Monitor ordering, labor cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis ensuring financial performance and control
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
• Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, training and goals setting
