The Hyatt Regency Times Square, opening in summer 2025, is situated in the heart of Times Square, directly on Broadway between 48th and 49th Streets. This iconic, modern, full-service hotel is surrounded by Broadway theaters and close to shopping and sightseeing attractions. The hotel features 795 newly renovated guestrooms.

Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the F&B outlet’s operations. The role involves maintaining profitability, ensuring high-quality products and service, marketing to promote business, reducing employee turnover, managing revenue and payroll budgets, and meeting productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the outlet.
  • Supervise outlet personnel.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints.
  • Coordinate with other F&B managers and communicate issues.
  • Keep superiors informed of problems or matters requiring attention.
  • Assist in Loss Prevention efforts.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely, including wage progress, payroll, revenue, employee schedules, and action plans.
  • Monitor service quality.
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Adhere to SOPs and requisition procedures.
  • Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews.
  • Train employees on SOPs and technical tasks.
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training programs.
  • Interview candidates and follow hiring standards.
  • Complete tip reporting.
  • Implement and monitor corporate promotions.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
