Location: Virtual, USA

Scientific Search client, a global leader in developing, sourcing and supplying pharmaceutical, food, nutritional and animal health ingredients has an immediate need for a Sales Manager, Food & Beverage. This is a full-time direct hire position with a dynamic/growing organization. The Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions.

Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans, strategies and visit schedules to identify/develop specific targets
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Work in CRM program to input activity, potentials/closings, follow-up, and adherence to plans/goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services as necessary with logistics and customer service staff.
  • Work in a team environment with other sales staff sharing information and supporting the overall growth of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations; create, compose, and edit sales/marketing materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients, valid state driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and some weekend, overnight, and international travel.
