Placements24 seeks a strategic Food & Beverage Director for a premier catering and events operation in Upington, Northern Cape. You will direct all F&B strategy, menu development, procurement, quality control, and service standards, while leading a high-volume operation with a strong emphasis on guest experience and profitability.

The role requires 8+ years in food and beverage management, including 4+ years as a director, with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 4 years in a Director-level role.
• Strong strategic planning, financial management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement comprehensive F&B strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand reputation.
• Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu development, procurement, quality control, and service standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures to ensure profitability targets are met.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team, including chefs, service staff, and managers.
• Conduct market research and identify new opportunities for F&B innovation and service enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling F&B packages and promotions.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
