Job summary

Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida, is hiring a Food and Beverage Director to lead the club's dining and banquets. You will oversee the F&B department, including head chef and FOH supervisor, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service in a semi-private setting.

The role requires 2–5 years in management within restaurants, plus experience with scheduling, ordering, inventory, HACCP, costing, and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in management experience in running restaurants, preferably as GM or department head but not required.
• College degree preferred in related field.
• Background of at least 1 year in running banquets or large events.
• Experience in schedules, ordering, inventory, HACCP, costing, POS, and more.

Responsibilities

• Run the food and beverage department for Southwood Golf Club.
• Oversee a staff of 20-25, including the head chef and FOH supervisor.
• Manage restaurant operations, banquet events, supervision of kitchen and service staff.
• Hire/fire, schedule, and train waitstaff; ensure cost control and excellent service.
