Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Audubon, NJ. You will oversee the eyeglass department, monitor promotions, and ensure compliance with company policies while motivating a team of opticians and sales associates.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to analyze financial reports to drive sales and profitability. You’ll collaborate with store leadership to forecast staffing needs and deliver an exceptional

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; Supervising experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong oral and written communication for effective team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (e.g., review P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service to all associates.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager and District Manager; provide reports.
• Ensure store promotions, ads and merchandising are current.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and Sales associates; manage day-to-day tasks.
• Assist scheduling, staffing forecasts, and retention of qualified staff.
• Motivate the team to exceed performance standards.
• In some locations, ensure duties align with licensing requirements.
