Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Audubon, NJ. This full-time role oversees the eyeglass department, motivates associates, and drives sales, service, and compliance with company policies.

You will collaborate with management to forecast staffing and ensure promotions and merchandising are executed across the store. The ideal candidate has optical sales experience, a proven leadership record, and strong communication skills to manage a team and deliver a positive

Qualifications

• Ability to coach staff and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor profit, sales and performance against goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and train associates.
• Review quality, remakes and enforce standards.
• Report store performance to management and corporate.
• Promote promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising.
• Supervise Opticians and sales staff and manage day‑to‑day tasks.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention.
• In some locations, ensure license requirements are met where applicable.
• Encourage staff to exceed performance targets.
