AEG Vision in the United States seeks a skilled Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper fit, and translate prescriptions into precise lens dispensing.

You will maintain knowledge of lenses, coatings, insurance benefits, and enter data into the EHR/ALE systems, delivering outstanding service and building trust with patients.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor, experience with sales preferred.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories; fit frames and dispense lenses.
• Explain use of lens treatments, coatings, and accessories based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Enter prescription information into EHR and ALE; ensure chart documentation is complete.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues; escalate to management as needed.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits, copays, and coverage limitations.
• Follow up on orders, notify patients when eyewear is ready, and ensure timely delivery.
