Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as an optician preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens type, and lens treatments including tints and coatings.
• Interpret prescriptions written by optometrist and ophthalmologist.
• Develop own clientele from outstanding service and referrals.
• Take and verify patient measurements for proper fit and accuracy.
• Create lab work orders and follow up on order status with labs/manufacturers.
