Job summary

AEG, based in the United States, is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit, and dispense accurately while delivering outstanding service. The role requires good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of insurance benefits.

Experience as an Optician is preferred; ABO/NCLE is a plus. Proficiency with EHR systems and basic PC skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic PC skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Educate patients on eye care, warranties, and insurance benefits.
• Maintain product knowledge and order management while coordinating with technicians and doctors.
