Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements and fit, and maintain accurate prescription records in the EHR and ALE systems.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with ABO/NCLE preferred and one year of experience aiding patients with eyewear choices. On-site work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician strongly preferred.
• HIPAA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Explain lens options, coatings, and frame choices to match lifestyle.
• Enter prescription data into EHR and ALE systems accurately.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and education on care and warranties.
