Salary Range: $15.00 To $18.50 Hourly

Compensation range for the role is listed above. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. General Summary

The primary function of this role is toassist patients with finding frames, adjustments, troubleshooting, and dispensing eyewearwhile providing the highest levels of quality andcare.

Essential Functions

Attract and retain customers by delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer retention, and promoting outstanding patient satisfaction

Greet and assist customers in the selection of frames

Assist patients with adjustments, troubleshooting, and dispensing eyewear

Ensure correct pricing and realistic delivery time quotes to patients; contact patients to dispense glasses

Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet and exceed patient expectations, as well as foster positive relationships with team members

Clean and merchandise displays daily; always display effective merchandise

Assist with insurance billing and processing orders

Document all patient communication in the patient record within the practice software system

Work on special projects, cross-train in different departments, and perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

One to two years of experience in related field

Working knowledge of MS Office package

Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for incoming calls and inquiries

Effective written communication skills to clearly document customer situations, as well as prepare letters to confirm agreements made

Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills

Ability to ask appropriate and relevant questions to identify customer needs

Proven problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills

Ability to use appropriate discretion and judgment in applying customer/call handling guidelines

Ability to listen, process transactions, and interact with customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home ( WFH )) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH ), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
